Sarcasm played an important role in the social aspect since ancient times as it is the organizer and constituent if the individual’s and community’s life.

As for Al-Jahiz, it plays a philosophical role in addition to its actual role in making people laugh.

This study was based on a descriptive and analytical reading in the letter of Al-tarbe’ and AL-tadweer; as Al-Jahiz was able to draw a (caricature) of Ahmed bin Abdel-Wahhab’s character, which needs great effort to put its pieces together.

The greatest painters in the world may not be able to draw what he drew with his words.

Keeping his sense of humor, Al-Jahiz remained that philosopher who could use literature and art to serve his ideas and isolation.

There were a large number of questions in the letter addressed to Ahmed bin Abdul Wahhab, which took a big part of it.

He wanted two things out of the letter: show off his knowledge, what he has done, scientific and cognitive encyclopedic ability, as well as show the ignorance of the other party: person, group and extent of his ignorance and the absurdity of his ideology.

At the end of the questions, he was able to conclude the aim of the letter and announced his goal in asking him to leave the Rejectionists and belong to the Mu'tazila.

With that, Al-Jahiz combined sarcasm as a literary art and his thoughts, and he made laughter serve isolation, and you hardly find a thinker who believes in his case the way Al-Jahiz’s believes in his isolation, who dedicated all forms of knowledge to serve his ideology.
