How to activate Zakat instrument and promote its dimensions through Zakat assets? The research discusses the real cause of zakat obligatory funds.

It represents the most important differentiation of scholars، researchers and the findings on the subject، and then it gives a new point of view; That is the answer of the question: Is the real cause of zakat the money growth، exceeding necessity level، or another thing? As we find the jurists imposes zakat in some kinds of growing wealth، but they do not impose it on others، so it is not a fixed rule، and it contradicts in some its implications with the main objectives of Sharia; like the equity، caring about needy parts of society.

The purpose of the study is to shed light on some zakat cases that need to be reviewed in terms of its inclusion on the zakat assets or not; as a result of some new recent developments like the price of real estate.

The researcher followed the analytic inductive method by investigating and analyzing evidence of the subject and the findings on the topic، then determining the verdicts based on that.

The study reached to the obligation of zakat on all kinds of wealth that are unnecessary for the person if it reaches the Nisaab (amount of money when a person reached it he must give zakat).

The study also reached that Zakat is not required from those who did not exceed the necessity level even if they reached the Nisab.

Finally، the study discussed some determinatives of necessity level.
