The internal environment of great importance in the management literature it is gain interest of researchers, so the internal environment is a group of features that influence employees’ values and attitudes and awareness greatly help the organization to acquire the personal character that distinguishes it from other organizations.

Hence this study came to investigate the employees' perception of the relationship of the internal environment and their performance using a sample from the public organizations in Riyadh city.

Reaching the main aim of the study required a review of the previous studies.

A survey was conducted on a study sample comprising the employee in all levels of management in public sector organizations, Riyadh, which total (462) employees.

The study employed descriptive research and statistical analysis methodologies, including desk and field research to acquire data through the survey, which constituted the primary data source.

The study used the necessary tests to measure the validity and reliability of the study.

The hypotheses were built and examined.

The results showed: - The employees recognized the effect of their internal environment's on their performance.

- The elements (supervision, and motivation) were positively correlated.

- The element (role ambiguity, and role conflict) were negatively correlated.

- The differences in their perception were due to their personal variables.

Based on these results, certain recommendations were suggested.
