The present study aimed at identifying the psychological projections of the drawings of a child suffering from ADHD in the light of the projections of F.

goodnough (1926)”draw a-person” test which developed by caren machover, (1949) to ascertain whether it is possible to depend on it as a tool used for diagnosing psychological and social adjustment.

the researcher used the in-depth individual case study methodology, using some of information collection tools such as case study, scientific objective observation, half-directed clinical interview with the case, the mother and kindergarten teacher, also the researcher used children personality scale for “ Hana :1986 ”.

the results of the study indicate that there is a close relationship between the low level of psychological and social adjustment of the case, and the nature of her drawings on the” draw a-person” test and it’s projections in terms of deletion, distortion, sizes, pressure on the pencil and the place of drawing on the page; that is a strong indicator of her low psychological and social adjustment, and makes us confident in the ability of the draw a-person test as a tool for diagnosing psychological and social adjustment.
