The study aimed to identify the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to transform into a knowledge society based on the knowledge economy.

It also aimed to identify the Badir program for technology incubators, which is supervised by King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology as a model that contributes to transformation towards the existing knowledge society.

Badir Technology Incubators and Accelerators program was established in 2007 to improve, develop and support the process of technical entrepreneurship and incubators in the Kingdom.

This is done by establishing partnerships with different entities in cooperation with government agencies and different sectors.

Badir has launched several business incubators since its inception date, with eight incubators in seven cities across Saudi Arabia, making it the largest in the Middle East.

These incubators seek to promote the growth of teclmical projects.
