This study deal with the strategic importance of the red sea islands, as the red sea composed of numerous islands at different sites scattered around the sea beaches’ states, hence, it is quite possible that one country might comprise more than one thousand islands with different dimensions of strategy, location, it’s influence on the state it belongs to and\or other states that has special interest in the region.

These islands could be a source of power or weakness to its states, on the other hand it can be a source of conflict between the neighboring states, and this of course depends on the strategic prominence of the specific island and the power of the tussled states.

Also these islands could be a source of attractiveness to the covetous greatest and ascending states, and motivated them to occupy these islands by any means and dedicates its existence there.

The study objectives are twofold: (1) To examine the strategic importance of the red sea islands and how can they became as a source of power to their belonging states; (2) To focus and analyze the role of the greatest and the ascending states and its repeated and frequent trials to occupy these islands.

The study hypotheses arc: (1) the red sea comprise of a numerous islands characterized with strategic prominence, economic and\or tourism nature, this represents an ambitions to the greatest and the ascending states, and to the region states itself.

(2)These islands could be a source of power and security for the region in the future if they are well developed, and protected from any foreign intervention^3) Conducting international and regional agreements has a positive impact on the security of the red sec.

The study concluded to some results some of which arc, first: the presence of regional Arabic ambitious and specifically the islands.

Secondly: The weakness of the Arab unity which emerged from the weakness of the joint Arab action thirdly: the pervasiveness of Israeli state in the red sea represents a breakthrough to the sovereignty of these states.

The study concluded to some recommendations, some of which is to assemble an alliancc of the red sea states into one entity which can be split into implementation mechanism well aware of the prominence of this region and to provide the necessary protection for this entity.

Secondly: to form a unified Arabic military organized force to provide the security of the region.

Thirdly: cncouragc and motivate the red sea state for the assignment of the World Seas Conventions and Trcatics(WCT).Thc study also discussed the prevailing conditions of the region and predict a vision for the cxpectcd future.

The study followed the integrated methodologies, historical, analytical, descriptive and legal methodology.
