The aim objective of the research is to identify the extent of the impact of knowledge management processes in enhancing the competitive advantage the employees of Mellitah Oil and Gas Company in Libya.

The questionnaire was used to collect the data from the sample of the study which consisted of (111) members, equivalent to 26%.

The (SPSS) program was used to access the results.

Accordingly, a set of results were reached, including: There is a statistically significant relationship between the answers of the research sample and with a very high degree for a variable of knowledge management.

The average response to the competitive advantage variable was high.

It showed that the degree of practice of the dimensions of knowledge management were all with a very high degree, with the exception of the dimension of knowledge distribution with a high degree.The most important recommendations : Work to exploit the knowledge possessed by the employees of the company and invest it, the need for the company to develop databases and increase the strengthening of communications between departments, the company's adoption of a strategy It is based on knowledge foundations that enable it to occupy a competitive position in the market.
