The study aimed to reveal the reality of the practice of administrative creativity at the University of Misurata.

To achieve the objective of the study, the descriptive approach was used and the data collected from the study sample members were analyzed.

The study population consisted of (320) employees in the public administration at the university.

The questionnaire was adopted as a main tool for collecting data from the study sample, which consisted of (180) individuals, and the number of valid questionnaires for analysis was 166, which is equivalent to 51.87% of the study population.

The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS( version 22.

Based on the analysis of quantitative data, the study reached a set of results, most notably : The results of the Spearman analysis test showed that there is a positive correlation between the dimensions of the reality of administrative creativity, and that the most important dimensions are the two dimensions of the ability to analyze, link, and flexibility.

The study recommended the following: Giving the employees of the Misurata University administration an adequate opportunity to express their opinions and present their ideas so that they can stand on work problems with accuracy and authenticity, work to accept creative ideas as long as they have the ability to solve work problems, maintaining to accept the new ideas generated by the employees as long as they are in the interest of the work, to support the university employees with courses that help them to produce the largest number of new creative ideas in a short period of time, to organize study workshops and discussion seminars periodically and continuously, in the field of creativity and innovation due to the benefit and benefit to the organization under study.
