This study aims to identify the impact of leadership styles (i.e., democratic, autocratic and free leadership) on the administrative creativity of the employees in Benghazi municipality.

Using the quantitative approach and questionnaire, the data collected from 120 employees.

The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS V.26) was used to analyze the data.

The analysis reveals that the democratic style affects the administrative creativity positively.

The results show that the autocratic style affecting on the administrative creativity negatively.

Also, free leadership style affecting on the administrative creativity with negative relationships in Benghazi municipality.

The study finds that the level of administrative creativity at the employees in Benghazi municipality is satisfied.

This study produces some recommendations to enhance the practice of administrative leadership styles in Benghazi municipality.

Establishing an administrative leadership research center in the Ministry of Local Government and pay attention to the principles of democratic leadership.
