In general, the study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of controlled virtual navigation using the second life environment in developing the virtual life skills among adolescents and young people to make use of the g2 e-learning platforms.

to achieve this goal, the study experimental and control samples consisted of 177experts in education, psychology, along with teachers and parents,137middle and high school students and 70 other respondents.

the results of the study indicated that : • there was a great deal of agreement between educators, psychologists, teachers and parents on the need to develop(30) virtual life skills to benefit from the g2 e-learning platforms.

• adolescents and young people scored low at9 information literacy skills in virtual learning, 3 virtual personal life skills,6 cyber-crime prevention skills, and 4 social life skills.

• there was a statistically significant difference in the assessment of the availability of acquired virtual life skills for g2 e-learning platforms between adolescents and young people due to the different assessors.

• there was a statistically significant impact on the use of the g2 navigation strategy in developing the virtual life skills to make use of the g2 e-learning platforms by adolescents and young people.
