Health is the main objective of each individual human societies as the active factor for the survival of the individual vital product able to engage in economic activity and social competence believes his survival, development and ensure the progress and the progress of society who live under its rules.

The study included coverage of the theory of the mechanism of the health system and also included a study review of the reality of the spatial distribution of health services and the extent of variation distributed to all sectors of the city of Samawah.

Study has contained the efficiency measurements of health services at the level of the revival of the city and the extent of efficiency between the places of the city and the efficiency of the site and spatial locations of health services factors on the planning criteria and who criteria in evaluating the level of health services and the field study was to identify the degree of satisfaction of the population at the level of provision of services from health institutions.

The most important conclusions of the study found that there was variation in the distribution of health centers and on the basis of population size, which had a impact on the efficiency of health services provided, as well as a statement the city needs from doctors and staff health and health institutions.

Through study and analysis of the health situation of the city of Samawah found that these services are distributed to some districts of the city and by (2) hospital occupied an area of (251900) m2 and (20) health centers occupied an area of (30,000) m2.

Per capita (0.9)m2 which is low, and during the planning standards adopted by the ministry of health show that there is a shortage of doctors and the rate of (675) doctor, as there is a shortage in the preparation of nurses, especially female nurses, to social and economic conditions.
