This study deals with the location analysis of the desert phenomenon in Al Muthana Province taking into considerations the human factors that cause this phenomenon.

The lands that are influenced by this phenomenon have recently increased.

The study relies on the sat photographs that were taken by a series of satellites (American Land Sat) as well as the Google Earth.

These photos are used for determining the desert lands in the area and the factors that cause that.

By analyzing these photos and field studying in different areas, it is discovered there are many parts of the province has been suffering of the desert problem that has led to the destruction of many farming lands or farms that are already planted.

This is due to the continuity of this phenomenon and the weakness of the governmental departments to put an end to it.
