This research aims at revealing a method for reading and understanding (other minds) in the applied critical space, and considering that the importance of understanding other minds lies in understanding the ways of life of peoples and the motivation of people and therefore understand the development of their civilization.

the problem is that the most research in this regard is either at the level of theoretical philosophical interpretations of the concept itself, or at the level of psychological interpretation, and this research was to bring down the method of reading other minds to the theoretical applied space through a practical model in the field of literary criticism, the writings (Maron Abboud) and how he sought to clarify mental conditions and ways of life through poetic and literary criticism, which in turn is an application of the methods of philosophical analysis as it is when contemporaries.

the final result of this is that Maroun Abboud's critical treatments and his novels not only reveal how to understand other minds in general, but also presented the kind of mind that he belongs to (the Arab-Lebanese mind (Ain Kefaa)) to the minds of others for understanding they have.

Thus, the method of research used to address this issue is the method of content analysis.
