This article compares two famous poetic texts: the first is Alphonse Lamartine’s Lake of B and the second is Nizar Qabbani’s Balqis.
It is a question of reflecting on the life of poets, their disappointment, their commitment as well as the impact of their works on the evolution of French and Arab literatures.
The main objective of the study is to highlight the thematic and stylistic relationship between the two elegies but also the specificity of each text
الملخص FRE
Le présent article se propose de comparer deux célèbres textes poétiques: le premier est Le Lac de B d'Alphonse de Lamartine et le second est Balqis de Nizar Qabbani.
Il s'agit de porter une réflexion sur la vie des poètes, leurs déceptions, leur engagement ainsi que l'impact de leur œuvres sur l'évolution des littératures française et arabe.
L'objectif principal de l'étude est de mettre en relief les parentés thématique et stylistique entre les deux élégies mais également la spécificité de chaque texte.
