Fuzzy regression models are used represent relationships between phenomena with inaccurate, uncertain data, and unconfirmed data that which are subject to personal judgment, and then estimate these models for their dependence in estimation and prediction.

In this research, two fuzzy linear regression models were used, the first with two fuzzy explanatory variables, a fuzzy response variable and crisp parameters, and the second with two fuzzy explanatory variables, a fuzzy response variable and fuzzy parameters, to represent the relationship between global gold prices, as a fuzzy response variable, and oil prices and gold production, which measured globally, as two fuzzy explanatory variables.

Observations for each of the mentioned variables were represented by fuzzy trigonometric numbers.

The results of the analysis for both models indicated the significance of the effect of each of the two explanatory variables, oil prices and gold production, and that they had a positive effect on the response variable represented by global gold prices, as well as the preferenceof the first model in representing the fuzzy linear regression relationship under consideration.
