This article discusses the extent of efficacy of the steps taken by Algeria to support digitization policies in local administration in an effort to catch up with modernity and development, and in a desire to reduce forms of administrative corruption, mainly the deviation of authority.

For this reason, we will highlight some forms of the authority deviation at the local administration and clarifying the extent of its relationship to adopting the traditional management style.

We will also show the impact of digitization in rationalizing the Algerian local administrative tasks.

Of course, in a comparison what Algeria has achieved in this field to some of the leading models in the Arab world in the field of digitization, such as the experience of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

To reach the conclusion, at the end, that Algeria, especially after the pandemic that befell over the world - Corona Covid 19 - has shown its rapid move to keep pace with digitization, which has become an inevitable necessity, and has also taken many important steps in digitizing the local administration.

However, there are some of some of the shortcomings, if avoided, Algeria can achieve a digital turning that leads to overcoming all forms of administrative corruption.

Cet article traite de l’effectivité des démarches adoptées par l'Algérie pour accompagner les politiques de numérisation de l’administration locale dans un souci de rejoindre la modernité et le développement d'une part, et réduire les formes de corruption administrative d'une autre part, surtout la détournement de pouvoir.

C'est pourquoi nous mettrons en lumière quelques formes de la détournement de pouvoir dans l'administration locale en Algérie et nous expliquerons l'étendue de la relation entre celle-ci et l'adoption du mode d'administration locale algérienne, , tout en comparant ce que l'Algérie a réalisé dans le domaine de la numérisation à certains des modèles phares du monde arabe dans le domaine de la numérisation, comme l'expérience des Émirats arabes unis et du Qatar.

Pour conclure au final que l'Algérie, surtout après la pandémie qui a frappé le monde - Corona Covid 19 - a montré sa démarche rapide pour suivre le rythme de la numérisation, qui est devenue une nécessité inévitable, et a pris de nombreuses mesures importantes dans la numérisation de l'administration locale , mais elle fait toujours face à certaines lacunes qui si elles sont évitées, elle réalisera une transformation numérique qui conduira à l'élimination de diverses formes de corruption administrative.
