The current study aimed to shed light on the statistical concepts frequently used in scientific research, and the misconceptions related to it, in addition to the attempt to correct these mistakes.

the researcher used the interpretive methodology.

where the critical explanatory research is considered to be a complement to the exploration research style; since it concerns on reaching specific scientific results using logical and rational patterns used by the researcher, through his interest in analyzing information and the data.

also, it highlights the best way to display the information.

the study concluded that statistics helps the researcher to give descriptions of a large aspect of practical accuracy.

moreover, it guides the researcher in organizing his research steps.

he needs it in the stage of research design and planning, so that he can finally come out of his research with the results he seeks to achieve, as it helps him to choose the best ways to control the means that lead to correct thinking in terms of preparation or inference and measurement during the research steps.

the study recommended that it is necessary to work on issuing statistical scientific standards that are based on well‐established theoretical foundations that unify the Arab schools, that will unite the world and international bodies specialized in issuing those standards.
