توظيف تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال في خدمة البحث العلمي : واقع التجربة المغربية و آفاق التطوير

In response to the closure of universities and libraries due to COVID-19, the role of the internet, digital libraries, educational platforms, databases and distance e- learning, of which information and communication technology is the cornerstone, come to the fore.

However, in the absence of monitoring these tools it was difficult to highly take advantage of it.

Based on this, the article aims at searching the hidden potentials and the broad horizons of using ICT in facilitating scientific research.

In addition, discussing the problems that are –in my opinion- the basic determinants to improve both the quality of scientific research and its effectiveness on one hand.

On the other hand to reduce the obstacles and difficulties faced by researchers.

So, the article is tackling the following questions: what is the importance of integrating the ICT at the university in general, and serving scientific research in particular? What has Morocco achieved to serve the issues of scientific research, regarding this field, so far? What are the potentials that ICT allow to help researchers and therefore develop the quality of scientific research? To discuss the questions above, I chose both the descriptive and analytical method, referring to the studies and sources relevant to my topic, according to scientific researches and courted articles.

In addition to monitoring local experiences in this field, providing suggestions to improve services regarding the scientific research area, in addition to integrating the ICT at the Moroccan universities.
