In order to keep pace with the age, and adapt to its digital data, we should all strive towards a rational understanding of the sciences that this era has created; Including data science.

From this standpoint, this study examines a main hypothesis: that digital science; Especially data science, in the current era, and in light of digital transformations and the control of the machine in various aspects of life; It is a new source of knowledge that differs from traditional sources of knowledge, and it also calls for a new type of thinking based on data, which we can call “ data thinking.” What this study aspires to is to test this main hypothesis, by answering the sub-questions of the study.

To achieve the desired goal, the study used the analytical method, the critical method, and the comparative method.
