The article is a follow-up of the authors’ article published in the Journal of Business and Economics (Lacasse and Lambert, 2017).
The article remains a reflection on the world of innovation in turbulent times.
In the first place, various definitions of creativity and innovation are described.
The process of innovation and the ingredients of creative thinking are dissected ; a quick look on malevolent innovation is presented.
The authors’ new model, inspired by the Santa Fe Institute and the complex adaptive system theory, establish links with current cases in turbulent times.
الملخص FRE
Cet article se veur une suite logique de « L’innovation, entre l’ordre et le désordre» paru dans la Revue de Gestion et d’Économie (Lacasse et Lambert, 2017).
Le texte ci-bas effectue une réflexion sur les sources de l’innovation lors d’une catastrophe sociale ou économique.
En premier lieu, les auteurs retracent diverses définitions concernant la créativité et l’innovation; les ingrédients de la pensée créative et du processus d’innovation sont ensuite décortiqués.
À travers leur modèle conceptuel inspiré de la Santa Fe Institute et des systèmes complexes adaptatifs, les chercheurs tissent des liens avec quelques cas pratiques à l’ère pandémique.
