This study is one of the important series of grammatical investigations.

it explores the contribution of Ibn al-Tarawah, a prominent Andalusian grammarian with focus on his book “ message revealing errors in the Idhah ”.

in his book, Ibn al-Tarawah has tried to correct the errors related to terminology, expressions and grammatical approach in the Idhah book by Abu Ali al-Farsy.

the research has shed light on Ibn al-Tarawah’s approach for investigating the targeted materials.

adopting descriptive analytical method, the study has concluded that the fifth and the sixth centuries (AH) have marked the development of the Andalusian grammar where studies have reached their peak, imposed themselves and decided their views on many grammatical issues very clearly.

the Andalusian grammarians have realized significant achievements establishing an independent grammatical approach.

moreover, Ibn Al Tarawah has managed to introduce a new style for grammar and distinguished method for investigating the secrets of Arabic language and how to research it.
