The objectives of the study were to identify the nature of the relationship between the use of means of communication technology in its three axes (mobile phone - the Internet - satellite channels), and between religious and social behavior in its three dimensions (worship and values - transactions - public morals), and between some variables of the socioeconomic level of the family.

(The number of family members, the age of the student, the duration of the parents ’marriage, the age of the father, the age of the mother, the educational level of the father, the educational level of the mother, the categories of the monthly income of the family, the extent of the mother’s participation in spending on the family, the number of hours the student uses the Internet, the number of hours the student uses the phone Mobile phones, the number of hours the student watches satellite channels, the number of years the student uses the Internet, the number of years the student uses the mobile phone, the number of years the student watches satellite channels), Study the differences between university students (rural and urban - theoretical and practical disciplines) in each of the use of means of communication technology in its three axes, and religious and social behavior in its three dimensions.

The current study followed the descriptive and analytical approach, whereby a questionnaire was prepared and codified on the use of means of communication technology, and a questionnaire on religious and social behavior, and the questionnaire was applied to a sample of university students chosen in a random and purposive manner made up of 763 female students from public universities (Menoufia, Tanta, Banha and Kafr El-Sheikh), especially (Sharif University in Kafr El-Sheikh, and Sixth of October University), and Al-Azhar University in (Tanta - Nasr City) residing in the countryside and urban areas of various social and economic levels.

The results showed the existence of a positive statistically significant correlation at a significance level (0.01) between the use of means of communication technology as a whole, and religious and social behavior as a whole.

There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of rural and urban university students in the use of communication technology as a whole, while there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of rural and urban university students in religious and social behavior as a whole at a significance level of 0.001 in favor of rural female students.

The study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which was holding training courses for university students by public service centers in universities on the use of means of communication technology and the positive and negative effects thereof, providing awareness programs for university students through print, audio and visual media that contribute to urging them to follow social standards on That specialists in the field of sociology provide these programs, which would have the greatest impact on the support and stability of society.
