The research aimed to identify the level of innovative personality traits of mothers and their relationship to managing change and achieving compatibility with adolescent children in the middle adolescence stage (from 14 to 17 years).

The basic research sample consisted of (200) chosen- by-chance mothers of adolescents in middle adolescence from different social and educational levels in Al-Beheira Governorate using the descriptive analytical approach.

The research tools consisted of a questionnaire form that included (social and economic characteristics of the respondents and their families - innovative personality traits - managing change in dealing with adolescent children - compatibility with teenage children).

The results of the research showed that more than half of the research sample members (53.5%) had a high level of innovative traits, and less than half of the sample members (47.0%) had an average level in terms of managing change when dealing with their adolescent children, while the level of compatibility increased for the respondent mothers with their teenage sons as for nearly two-thirds of the research sample (60.5%).

The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the respondents in some creative personality traits according to (place of residence, nature of work, gender of adolescent son, age of mother, number of family members, educational level of mother and average income).

The same differences were found between the mean scores of the respondent mothers in some dimensions of change management in dealing with adolescent sons according to (place of residence, gender of adolescent son, age of mother, number of family members, educational level of mother and average income).

Moreover, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the respondent mothers in compatibility with their adolescent sons, according to (mother's age, number of family members and mother's educational level).

The results also revealed a positive direct correlation between the level of respondents' management of change in dealing with adolescent children and the level of compatibility with them in addition to the existence of a direct, significant relationship between the level of innovative personality traits among the respondents and the level of change management in dealing with adolescent children and compatibility with them.

The participation rates of some social and economic variables in the interpretation of the variance ratios in each of (innovative personality traits, managing change in dealing with adolescent children, compatibility with adolescent children) differed among the respondents according to the weights of the regression coefficient and the degree of variance.

The study recommended the necessity of activating the role of home management specialists by holding meetings in the audio-visual media, to educate mothers about their innovative personality traits, and how to develop and benefit from them by adopting a change management approach in dealing with adolescent children to achieve compatibility among them.
