This study is concerned with the meaning of the word“Mata’a” (enjoyment) in the Holy Quran as an objective study.

It aims to explain the meaning of the word in the language and the terminology.

it also includes knowledge of the number of times the word and its derivatives were mentioned in the Holy Quran.

Besides, the inventory of types of it in the Quran.

also to clarify the difference between the word “Mata’a” and its derivatives and its descriptions, types and inventory contained in the Quran.

in this research, i follow the method of inductive and deductive, and concluded to several results, the most important : that the meaning of the word in language is the use of the goods for a long time, and the meaning of terminology does not deviate from the linguistic meaning.

the word “Mata’a and its derivatives are mentioned in the Holy Quran sixty-nine times, and the origin of the word “Mata’a and its derivatives are due to one thing, the use and enjoyment in different degrees.

the synonyms of the word “Mata’a” (Furniture, feathers, nomads’ goods, weights, the state life, the supply, the container, the house property).

it is mentioned in the Holy Quran on four descriptions: (good, little, temporary and rawness).

in the Holy Quran, there are a number of types of “Mata’a”, such as : (the life of the world, the enjoyment of man and the cattle, the enjoyment of marriage, food, the disbelievers, the divorcees, the women who has husbands and the belongings of passengers.

among the most important recommendations are the following : Invite researchers to direct their studies and research touncover Quranic terms and terminology, study them objectively, and unite efforts in the departments and colleges to monitor and collect Qur’anic topics that have not been studied.

the topics that can be discussed are “observations in the Holy Qur’an, as an objective study” and “psychological aspects in the Quranic Verses”.
