Almighty Allah revealed the Holy Qur’an to guide human beings and enlighten their life.

Allah considered its recitation as the best remembrance we can do, and urged people to constantly recite the Holy Qur’an without any interruption.

From this point of view, the righteous ancestors, companions and followers, were very keen to persevere reciting and contriving the Holy Qur’an permanently and walked on the prophet Muhammed’s approach, peace be upon him ; they preferred reciting the Qur’an divided into coherent parts rather than using Sorah, and also they had different timing habits of which they used to recite the whole Quran.

nowadays, the interest of reciting the Holly Qur’an is sharply declined ; furthermore, there is a clear negligence and failure to the recitation of the whole Qur’an among many Islamic Studies students as well as the Muslim public.

therefore, this research came up to study the prophetic hadiths concerning the division of the Qur’an, the most important hadiths of the prophet contained in the Tzbayn of the Koran, the most prominent (the hadeeth of Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas, and talk of Aws ibn Hudhayfah) and to show the way scholars divided all the Qur’an pages into specific parts, and to stand on the concept of “division”, and to point out the scholars’ views differences in determining the duration of the whole recitation, and finally to clarify different images beyond dividing the Quran into big and smaller parts so that everyone can easilyfinish reciting the whole Qur’an in accordance with his time and work.
