It was out of scientific integrity that Hadith’s expounders-Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani as one of them-have attributed each saying to its teller, and the benefits in that are huge, but the one who reads a lot of scholars books in expounding Alhadith can notice that there is quite a lot of sayings that was mentioned without their tellers, as the expounder was refereeing a saying to someone but then make it ambiguous by not mentioning his name or nickname, but using ambiguous words to describe this teller, or to add him to his book by saying : the so called book’s owner said.

due to the overabundance of the scientific materials that I have found in “Fath AlBari”, it turned out that an author is required to gather all the materials needed.

but i restricted my research on the things which were made ambiguous by Ibn Hajar, and were added to his book, by saying: “the author of the so-called book said without disclosing his name in any area of the book, and he sometimes discloses his name in some areas of the book or he doesn’t.

and then he tries to uncover the reasons that lead Ibn Hajar and other expanders to this behavior and revealing the methods that we can use to remove this kind of ambiguity, and getting to know the names of these luminaries’ authors.
