أثر رأس المال الفكري على الميزة التنافسية : دراسة تطبيقية على البنوك التقليدية الأردنية

This study aimed at identifying the impact of intellectual capital in its dimensions (human capital, structural capital, relative capital) on the competitive advantage in its dimensions (quality, cost reduction, innovation, response, and value) in commercial banks in Jordan.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach and developed questionnaire as a tool of the study for data collection.

The researcher used the SPSS program to analyze the data.

The study population consisted of all 13 commercial banks in Jordan.

The study sample consisted of (175) of employees working in banks from ranks of manager, branch manager, assistant branch manager, and head of the department), who were selected using simple random method.

The study reached several results, the most important of which is the existence of a statistically significant effect at the level of (α= 0.05) of the intellectual capital in its dimensions (human capital, structural capital, and relative capital) on the competitive advantage with its dimensions (quality, cost reduction, innovation, response and value) in Jordanian commercial banks.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the need for Jordanian commercial banks to give great importance to the components of intellectual capital such as (relative capital through improving relations with customers, human capital through training and continuing education, structural capital through the modernization of organizational structures and competencies.
