This study aims to clarify the doctrinal issues mentioned in the Noble Qur’ān and the Sunnah of the Prophet () about the legislation of those who came before us, which is possible to combine between with Islam.

Moreover, the study aims to explain the doctrinal issues mentioned in the Noble Qur’ān and the Sunnah of the Prophet about what was not established to be a legislation for those who came before us .

I followed the inductive-analytical method by extrapolating the texts in the Holy Qur’ān and the Prophet’s Sunnah about the ruling on some doctrinal issues in our Sharī’ah, and in the legislation before us.

I analyzed these texts after that by following the statements of scholars about this issue.

The aim was to arrive at the correct ruling regarding whether it was a legislation for those who came before us.

If it was a legislation for them, then the next question is whether it is abrogated in our Sharī’ah.

The researcher reached a number of results, the most important of them are: That there is no contradiction between the texts contained in our Sharī’ah and the legislation for those who came before us about the ruling on wishing for death, and the benefit of a person by the work of others, and the ruling on supplication by taking away faith.

The reason for that is that it is possible to combine the texts.

At the same time, it has not been proven that building mosques over graves, seeking blessings from the righteous and their relics, and making statues is permissible according to legislation for those who came before us.

It became clear that there are doctrines that Islam has abrogated like prostration of greeting, the way of making repentance, the rule of compulsion in religion, and the application of the word “Rabb” (Lord) to other than Allah Almighty.

The researcher recommended that we adhere to the teachings approved by our Sharī’ah, and not to follow the people of innovation in their inferences to that which is in accordance with their sects, which has been abrogated or canceled in the legislation for those who came before us.

She also recommended tracking the doctrinal violations in social media in this regard, and responding to the people of innovation with what the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah came with .
