الملخص EN

The Zinj revolution was led by Ali bin Muhammad, known as the owner of the Zinj, and it was one of the most prominent revolutions against the Abbasid caliphate in the middle of the third century AH, the ninth century CE, and it took Basra, southern Iraq today, as its capital, and it lasted for more than 14 years.

Ali bin Muhammad - the owner of the Zinj - is not a Negro, but an Arab who belongs to the Bani Abd al-Qais tribe from the Bahraini tribes.

He was born in the village of Warzinin, in Al-Rai.

The Negroes - who were brought from East Africa to work in the reclamation of lands located between the cities of Basra and Wasit - led a revolution against the Abbasid rule in southern Iraq and was able to extend his authority over Basra, Maysan, Abadan, Ahwaz, Ramhurmuz, Al-Bataih and Wasit, and to establish a state for them with its chosen capital in Basra that lasted for about five Ten years old.

The most important cause of the revolution was a protest against the poor economic conditions that the Negroes were experiencing and the low social treatment of them, in addition to the deterioration of the conditions of the Abbasid Caliphate during its second era as a result of the escalation of the Turkish influence.

The Zinj state fell at the hands of the Al-Muwaffaq - my brother, the Al-Mu'tamid - after he besieged their chosen capital for a period of three years until its fall in the year (270 A.H.), and one of the most important causes of its fall was the contradiction in principle It took revenge on the people and destroyed their property, which led them to discontent with the revolution and its leader.

The Zinj revolution did not satisfy the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

As Imam al-Hasan al-Askari (peace be upon him) denied that the owner of the Negro belonged to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and who implicitly rejects the revolution and does not support it.
