الملخص EN

This study aimed at introducing the administrative authorities with jurisdiction and the nature of the decisions issued by them.

The Jordanian legislator has resolved this nature in the provision of Article 5/A/8 of the Administrative Justice Act as administrative decisions based on the formal criterion, which is in line with the approach followed by the Egyptian and French State Council in this regard.

This study has raised the question of the extent to which it is possible to appeal against this type of decision with the fault of abuse of authority because of the paralegal that combines it with the jurisprudence.

The study has answered this question by highlighting what jurisprudence and administrative judiciary have settled in Jordan.

One of the most important findings of this study is the Jordanian legislator's and jurisprudence and the administrative judiciary's embrace of the formal criterion..

The study has also recommended "The necessity to allow administrative authorities to withdraw their defective decisions, similar to other administrative decisions, in a manner that does not violate the principle of stability of transactions or a violation ofthe acquired rights."
