The research sheds light on the role of archery in military battles and their resolution, and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم urged the Companions to struggle and learn to shoot with the intention of jihad for the sake of God and to raise his word.

They mastered the skill of shooting and had a great role in the invasions, especially from the Aws and the Khazraj, because of the fierce wars that took place between them before Islam.

The research aims to know the companions of the Ansar who were proficient in this skill and used it for the sake of God and to highlight their role in that, by following the historical inductive approach through the books of the Sunnah, the Prophet’s biography, translations and history
