the objectives of the research are to provide a brief look at the contributions of Algerian scientists in raising the awareness of society, and identifying its scholars through : -the explanation of the efforts of Algerian scholars in defending the true faith and responding to customs and traditions that were contrary to Islamic law.

the research falls into two objectives : the first is to shed light into the life of sheikh Mubarak al-Mili ; including his birth, lineage, upbringing, his positions, attitudes, his writings, the scholars praise of him and his death.
