The consideration of translation as a springboard inclined to transmit everything that is beneficial to cultures, both linguistically and civilizationally, has led us to question the importance of literary works whose discourse is vituperative.
this article proposes to articulate the reflection on a double rhetorical and ethical dimension in the translation of "notes of a dirty old man" by Charles Bukowski.
initially, it would be a matter of questioning the ethics of the translator towards the conventional and literary writing.
secondly, we will to speculate on the stylistic contribution of the ontotypical discourse in literary production and the need to include it in an ad hoc register will be speculated on.

La considération de la traduction comme un tremplin enclin à transmettre tout ce qui est profitable aux cultures, aussi sur le plan linguistique que civilisationnel, nous a poussé à nous interroger sur l’importance de la traduction des oeuvres littéraires dont le discours est à prégnance vitupératrive.
le présent article propose d’articuler la réflexion sur une double dimension rhétorique et éthique dans la traduction de «notes of a dirty old man» de Charles Bukowski.
dans un premier temps, il serait question d’interpeller l’éthique du traducteur face à ce relâchement conventionnel et littéraire.
dans un deuxième temps, nous tenterons de spéculer sur l’apport stylistique du discours onto typique dans la production littéraire et la nécessité de l’inscrire dans un registre ad hoc.
