The modern movement of poetry substantiated the collapse of the traditional principles, and surpassed the model that dominated the poetry writing style, and established for a new sensitivity and different forms, and tried to updates through it with the reality whish was imposed by modernity, as the traditional form did not respond to the ideas and visions of the modern poet.

Gibran tried to break away from the constraints of the poem, and to rebel against the stereotypical origins that were associated with the oral structure, and the ancient critics established for it at the time, where the form-in Gibran’s view-became an important part of the text as a tool to reach a specific goal, so he walked with modern Arabic intentionality towards an experiment that had a horizon, and a text that announced his statement and his poetic presence.

from premise, we have some problematic through which we tried to reach the results of our research, and they were represented in : is the form or distribution of written poem no longer accommodates the current issues ? can the poem as a “concept” and as a “structure” represent this complex construction (multiplicity of functions) ? was Gibran able to update with the text transformations imposed by modernity ?
