This research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of a proposed teaching strategy based on the principles of the cognitive burden theory of.

the achievement of the Arabic language grammar.

To achieve the goal of the research, the Investigator followed two approaches: one: (a descriptive approach) to build the strategy according to the theory of principles of the theory of cognitive burden, and the other: an (experimental approach) to know the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

The investigator adopted an experimental design with partial control, which is the design of the control and experimental group with a test, a post and a delay.

The research sample consisted of (86) students from the fourth-grade literary class in Al-Risalah Prep for Boys in Baghdad, distributed randomly into two groups, by (41) students in the experimental group, and (45) students in the control group.

The experimental group was taught with the proposed strategy.

The control group in the traditional way via using the T-test for two independent samples.

The study resulted in a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students of the two research groups and in favor of the experimental group.
