The aim of this research is to identify the importance of applied legal linguistics, and the research included two sections, the first dealt with the dimensions of the term legal linguistics, and the second reviewed the importance of applied legal linguistics.

the researcher used the descriptive approach and the research reached the results, the most important of which is that the legal language seeks to achieve societal balance; as it, like any language, has a communicative function between members of the legal community on one side, and between the legislative authority and members of society on the other ; therefore, legal linguistics undertakes the process of explaining and explaining the legal language, extracting its features, clarifying its functions, developing its terminology, and trying to explain the relationship between legal language and members of society on the one hand and between it and the legislative authority on the other.
