Through a case study from Algerian musical heritage, this article analyzes the relationship between the morphology of the wedding ritual in Kabylia and the musical repertoire associated with it.
based on musical transcription and analysis (structural, melodic and phraseological), this study proposes to define the musical genres, which make up this repertoire, in their context of performance.
the relationship between the morphology of the ritual and the music associated with it indicates that the music is not a simple accompaniment of ritual actions, but an essential component of the configuration of the ritual.
الملخص FRE
À travers une étude de cas issue du patrimoine musical algérien, cet article analyse le rapport entre la morphologie du rituel de mariage en Kabylie et le répertoire musical qui lui est associé.
basée sur la transcription et l’analyse musicale (structurelle, mélodique et phraséologique), cette étude propose de définir les genres musicaux, qui composent ce répertoire, dans leur contexte d’exécution.
le rapport entre la morphologie du rituel et la musique qui lui est associée indique que la musique n’est pas un simple accompagnement des actions rituelles, mais une composante essentielle de la configuration du rituel.
