It was natural for this fateful issue and its tragedy to be reflected in modern literature.

That is why the tongues of poets and the pens of writers set out to express the nation’s conscience and the pain and resentment it deals with regarding the Palestine issue, and it aspired to a future in which those wounds would be wiped out.

This issue occupied Arabic literature, in its two parts, poetry and prose.

The poets of the Arab nation, led by “Zahir alalmi” and “Aref al-Sheikh Hassan”, were among the most prominent poets of the twentieth century who dealt with the Palestinian issue and devoted an abundant portion of their poetry to it, and reflected its tragedy in their poetry collections.

The two poets had prophesied in their poems the Palestinian tragedy before its occurrence and talked about the causes of its occurrence and its continuation and called for it to be addressed firmly and forcefully.

As for the reasons for its emergence and its persistence, it is summarized in the dark plots of the West and its divisive plans for the Arab and Islamic nation in order to weaken it first, and the negligence of the Arab nation and rulers about its fate and those unfair conspiracies and its reluctance to rescue it from the clutches of the Jews.

As for the methods of dealing with them, according to the narration of our poets, they lie in cutting off hope of peaceful solutions and the socalled negotiations, and then uniting the Islamic nation under the banner of Islam and its solidarity and its launch of struggles against the Zionist entity.
