The present study tries to shed light on the morphological and grammatical shifts as it is considered a source that enriches language composition and it opens new way for interpretation of texts.

The researcher chooses Imam Ali's (peace be upon him) recitation to fulfill the aims of the study.

The research investigates the morphological and grammatical shifts in one recitation which has attracted less attention in researching and because of the role, the shifting phenomenon has in clarifying and enriching the meaning، this recitation opens new way for the interpretation of the verses and make them clearer.

Based on the agreement of the people of the language, interested in the meaning of the readings, that (verb, subject) and (verb and subject) each may come in the same meaning, we see that the reading of Ali's (peace be upon him) has something that strengthens it and makes it acceptable and palatable in terms of narration and pronunciation when it matches the drawing of the Qur'an, like his reading: (“I have prepared for you”) with the Hamz and the inclusion of altaa, meaning: I have prepared, it brings the well-known reading closer to the intended meaning.

and Imam Ali's reading of the Almighty's saying: “Her passion has been love” [Yusuf: : 30]: (He made her sympathetically) with the aleayn is closer to the linguistic reality.

His (peace be upon him) reading may come as an explanatory reading of the well-known reading sometimes.

When it does not meet the condition that it conforms to the drawing of the Qur'an even though it is close to it in meaning.

Towards his reading (peace be upon him) of the Almighty's saying: “nor is it for helpers such as Me to take as lead (men) astray” [Al-Kahf: 51] (they taken astray), reading with tanween is justified by the presumption of its peremptory significance.
