The study aimed to identify The Degree of Applying Administrative Decentralization in Educational Directorates of the Capital Amman and its Relationship with the level of Motivation Achievement as Percieved by School Principals.The researcher used the descriptive correlative method.

The study society consisted of (177) principals, while the number of private school principals reached (300) principals, the final study sample consisted of (280) principals.

The researcher developed a questionnaire consisted of two parts: the first to measure The Degree of of Applying Administrative Decentralization, the second part to measure the the achievement motivation level.

Validity and reliability coefficient were ensured for the tool.

The findings of the study were: the degree of Applying administrative decentralization among school principals came medium, the level of achievement motivation among school directors came also medium, There are no statistical significant differences on all domains of the tool (level of applying Administrative decentralization), & (on the tool as a whole) due to all the variables, also there are no statistical significant differences on all domains of the tool (level of achievement motivation), on the tool as a whole due to due to all the variables.

There is a statistical significant positive relationship between all the domains of (Administrative decentralization), and between all the domains of (achievement motivation).

The study also found that the most important method that contributes to promoting decentralization at work is training principals on modern administrative trends.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommendes the following: The principals should be able to carry out their work and tasks independently without interference from higher management and without tight control.
