This research deals with one of the most important crafts that man continues to practice and can never dispense with, namely the sewing craft, which was considered one of the most important professions practiced by a number of members of society in the Islamic State in the Abbasid era and has emerged in the Abbasid era many crafts and professions that were considered important aspects of Islamic civilization in the Islamic State.

The study will deal with the talk of this important craft in its various aspects, so that we can be informed of the nature and importance of that craft, and gather different information about it from the bellies of different and diverse sources.
