This research aims to identify: (The effect of Karen's model on acquiring Islamic concepts for fifth grade students in the subject of Islamic education and developing their decision-making ability(.

The researcher followed the experimental design with two equal groups, experimental and control, with a pre and post test.

The researcher deliberately chose the fifth scientific grade students from Al-Hadara and Al-Makassed Secondary Schools.

The research sample amounted to (61) students, as Al-Hadara High School (30) students represented the experimental group that studied that they were Karen, and Al-Makassed High School (31) students represented the control group that studied in the usual way.

The researcher built a test for acquiring Islamic concepts that included (45) test items of the type of multiple choice.
