The research aims to study this Islamic tradition in terms of the chain of narrators and the text of the tradition, following all censure and criticisms directed to this tradition and answer all such criticisms.

Then I presented all interpretations given by the critics and defenders of this tradition.

As for the research method, it depends on the analytical and inductive method.

The research consists of an introduction, four sections, a conclusion, and an index of reference.

The First Section: Orientalist Ignaz Goldziher sayings about the tradition: “During the pre-Islamic period, I saw a female monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys.

They were all throwing stones at her for committing adultery.

The Second Section: About authentication of the tradition and introduction, and judging the narrators of the tradition about: During the pre-Islamic period, I saw a female monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys.

The Third Section: Doubts of Orientalist Ignaz Goldziher about the tradition “During the pre-Islamic period, I saw a female monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys.

The Fourth Section: Responding to Doubts of Orientalist Ignaz Goldziher about the tradtion: "I saw during the pre-Islamic period that some monkeys stoned a female monkey to death for committing an adultery”.

The most important results of the research is that the text is mentioned in most of the original copies of “Sahih Al-Imam Al-Bukhari’s book”.

I concluded that Al-Bukhari has mentioned this story about what the reporter of the tradition Amr bin Maimon saw during the pre-Islamic period.

The aim of narration of this text by Imam Bukhari is only to confirm that Amr bin Maimon has lived during the period of ignorance (pre-Islamic period), as Imam Bukhari did not care about what Amr Bin Maimon had seen during the pre-Islamic period that a female monkey was stoned to death by other monkeys for committing an adultery.

The number of texts of this tradition narrated by persons other than Imam Al-Bukhari in his Sahih, were eight narrations.

I found that six of these narrations are true, one is good for itself, and one is good compared with the others.
