دور معلمي المدارس الحكومية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية في محافظة الكرك بالاردن من وجهة نظر المشرفيين التربويين

This study aimed at identifying the role of public schools’ teachers in al-Karak governorate in developing the creative thinking skills of high school students from the educational supervisors' point of view.

the sample of the study consisted of (78) male and female educational supervisors.

to achieve the objectives of the study، the researchers developed a questionnaire consisted of (34) creative thinking skill items, which were divided into five dimensions (fluency, flexibility, originality, elaborateness and sensitivity problems).

the questionnaire was checked for validity and reliability.

mean , standard deviations,t-test and one way anova were utilized.

the results found that the role of public schools’ teachers in al-Karak governorate in developing the creative thinking skills of high school students was medium in three skills (originality، elaborateness، and sensitivity problems), and in a high degree in two skills (fluency and flexibility).

the results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in educational supervisors' responses attributed to the variables of sex, qualification and experience.

in light of the results, the study recommended that the ministry of education should include programs that focus on skills of creative thinking in the teachers and educational supervisors’ training programs, and include methods to develop thinking skills of high school students especially in the fields of (originality, elaborateness and sensitivity problems).
