The study aimed to find out the role of school administration in developing health awareness among high school students in the capital city of Amman and means of activating it.

the study used the descriptive analytical method, and study population consisted of all males and females teachers in the secondary public schools in the capital governorate Amman during the second scholastic term at 2018/2019.

their number reached (4473) male and female teachers, while the study sample consisted of (448) males and female’s teachers, they were selected by the simple random technique from university district and Amman district.

during the second academic term year 2018-2019.

the researcher has developed the study instrument which consisted of (37) clause after extracting their validity and stability coefficients Amman from the teachers point of view attribute to gender, scientific qualification, and experience.

the study recommended the necessity for school’s administration to present a number of initiatives regarding the enhancement of the health awareness in the school’s environment through designing periodic consultation programs and making contests relevant amongs schools and students to health awareness.
