The research aims to uncover the size of fetal mortality phenomenon, its spatial variation and the spatial relationships causing it in the chest areas 1/2 of 2019, and to achieve this, the descriptive, analytical and quantitative method was used, and the statistical bag (spss) was adopted through the use of the Pearson correlation coefficient and cluster analysis.

The research found that the prevalence of fetal deaths in the two districts of Sadr / 1/2 of 2019 amounted to (1175) deaths, with a spatial variation in the rates of fetal deaths at the level of administrative units, as AL- Furat region came first with a rate of (56% ), While AL-Sdeeq AL-Akbar region came last at a rate of (44% ), and the rates in the remaining administrative units ranged between these two rates, as foremost among them was (illnesses) at a rate of (29.9% ) and the two variables (the nature of the marital relationship and the inadequacy of housing) came in the last rank at a rate of each of them (4.2% ), and the rates ranged for the rest of the variables between the two rates above
