This research sought to study and analyze the role of the Iraqi stock market in attracting foreign direct and indirect investments at the level of all economic sectors in an effort to assess the role of efficiency of that market in the possibility of attracting those investments, which is the main step for economic growth as well as assessing the attractiveness of the market to those investments through several indicators addressed, and the importance of the stock market comes from its leading role in attracting and employing foreign capital in Various investment areas and thus promote the process of growth and economic development.

The hypothesis of the research came to the inability of the Iraqi stock market to attract foreign financial investments and therefore the research found the weak role of the financial market in attracting and attracting foreign savings and investments to the financial market and thus suggests the inefficiency of the market in attracting investment to it in general, while the research recommended the need for those concerned with the government administration in the country to improve the political, security and economic conditions in it, which contributes to providing the favorable environment for investment in the Iraqi stock market, from during.
