The research paper is an attempt to study the Scientific trips of UlamaMosuli to Baghdadduring the Atabegid state period.

The basic purpose of those ties was studying in Bagdad.

The research paper studies of many MosuliUlama who traveled to Baghdad for further their studies after they had completed their studies in Mosul.

In Baghdad they went through a new stage when they studied under their contemporary religious sheiks in schools of Baghdad according to Muslim schools of law (madhh), notably, the Shafiite school and that what the biographies are clarified.

So, the research paper tackled the following points: First: the travels of Mosul's Ulama for further studies.

Second: Religious sheikhs (Ulam) of Baghdad under whom Mosul Ulams studied.

Third: listening to recitation of booksFourth: Late in seeking knowledge
