الملخص الإنجليزي

The aim of the current research is to identify (the effect of using the education journey strategy on the achievement of second-grade intermediate students and the development of their future thinking in the subject of history to reach the two objectives of the research, the researcher formulated the following zero hypotheses1- There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied with the education journey strategy, and the average scores of the control group students who studied in the traditional way in the achievement test for history2- There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied with the education journey strategy and the average scores of the control group who studied the traditional way in testing the future thinking3- There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group that was studied with the education journey strategy in the future reminder test scale.

To achieve the objectives of the research, an experimental design with partial control was adopted, which is the design of the experimental group with the group and control group with a post-test, which was shortened to the third, fourth and fifth chapters of the social book to be taught for the second intermediate grade for the academic year (2019-2020) in Iraq.

He chose an intentional sample of students of the second grade average in Al-Sina Intermediate School for Boys affiliated to Baghdad Al-Karkh / Second Education for the purpose of applying the experiment.

The number of its members is (60) students who were randomly distributed into two groups that included (30) students for the control and experimental group.

The researcher rewarded my group in the following variables: (Intelligence, Previous achievement in history for the first intermediate grade, chronological age, educational attainment of parents, choice of tribal future thinking)Then the researcher tried to control a number of extraneous variables that may affect the dependent variable.

He prepared an achievement test consisting of (50) optional items of the type (multiple choice) whose validity, stability, passing strength and difficulty factor were confirmed.

Then he built a test for future thinking, which consisted of (72) paragraphs and included general information.

The researcher extracted the psychometric properties necessary for the study tools.

The researcher applied tests and the experiment himself, then which took a whole semester and after data collection and statistical analysis using (t-test) for two independent samples.

The results resulted in The experimental group outperformed the control group, and in light of this, the researcher concluded: The effect of using the education journey strategy in teaching history has a preference in increasing the academic achievement of second-grade students and developing future thinking.

The researcher also recommended a number of recommendations, including the establishment of courses for history teachers to inform them of modern teaching strategies.

Conducting studies to find out the effect of other teaching strategies in general on history for the secondary and university levels Developing programs for preparing history teachers in the light of modern teaching methods and strategies based on the development of future thinking.
