This article aims to measure the impact of the distribution of insurance through banks and financial and similar establishments (authorized by law 06/04 of February 26, 2006) on the development of personals insurances in Algeria.
The emergence of bancassurance is made possible thanks to panoply of agreements signed jointly by most of the banks and insurance companies operating in Algeria.
In order to measure the impact of the practice of bancassurance in Algeria, we calculated the correlation and determination coefficients between these two variables which turned out to be positive, thus demonstrating the existence of a strong correlation between bancassurance and insurances for persons in Algeria.

Cet article vise à mesurer l'impact de la distribution des assurances par l'entremise des banques et établissements financiers et assimilés (autorisée par la loi 06/04 du 26 février 2006) sur le développement des assurances de personnes en Algérie.
L'émergence de la bancassurance est rendue possible grâce à une panoplie de conventions signées conjointement par la plupart des banques et compagnies d'assurance exerçant en Algérie.
Afin de mesurer l'impact de la pratique de la bancassurance en Algérie, nous avons calculé les coefficients de corrélation et de détermination entre ces deux variables qui se sont avérés positifs, démontrant ainsi l'existence d'une forte corrélation entre la bancassurance et les assurances de personnes.
